Treating post-traumatic stress disorder through multi-discipline online therapy

A specialist in post-traumatic stress disorder recover, overcome post-traumatic stress disorder in just three sessions.

No trauma is the same. There is never a one therapy fits all for trauma. Sexual, physical, mental, emotional trauma is all individualised to a person. What that individual recalls and their brain’s response to the trauma is determined by a variety of factors including previous history, participation in trauma, type of trauma, access to support circle after trauma, wider knowledge of the trauma in their support system.

Therefore, a single form of therapy cannot ‘fix’ trauma. For one person, hypnotherapy could work, for another person it could be Havening techniques combined with  Pranic Healing. One individual may have experienced sexual trauma and be averse to touch therapy or hypnosis. Another individual may have experienced severe emotional trauma and need a quick route to calm.

For many, a multi-therapy approach enables an individual to fix the root cause, manage traumatic memories more effectively and develop habit reversal techniques to manage thoughts in day to day life.

Through the multi-discipline therapy approach, I can confidently treat post-traumatic stress disorder in just three sessions.

How do I know if I have post-traumatic stress disorder?

To be experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder you need to have experienced a catastrophic event. This event could have taken the form of rape or sexual assault, violent assault experience or direct witness, military combat or scenes of devastation (police, medical or fire services), terror attacks or natural disasters. However, if you feel you meet the symptoms or believe you have post-traumatic stress disorder, speak to an online therapist as trauma doesn’t always fit into a simple boxed explanation.

Life-changing events including divorce, redundancy, grief/loss and their resulting feelings for an individual do not mostly lead to post-traumatic stress disorder. Anxiety and depression can certainly evolve from these life-changing events but PTSD is centred very much around a traumatic event experienced by an individual.

The physical symptoms experienced by an individual with post-traumatic stress disorder can also support a diagnosis. The primary symptoms present include:  – experiencing flashbacks  – frequent nightmares  – ruminating on distressing mental images

Secondary physical and behavioural symptoms include:

–         Avoidance of places and people which act as a reminder of an event

–         Emotional numbing

–         Heightened state of arousal (fight, flight or freeze mode)

–         Easily startled

Each of the above can lead to tertiary behaviours including anger, irritability and insomnia. The combination of these post-traumatic stress disorder identifiers can often lead those with PTSD to develop depression, frequent headaches and substance misuse.

If you identify with any of the symptoms and behaviours here, we would like to help you with our 100% confidence in healing post-traumatic stress disorder in as little as 3 sessions.

How does online therapy help me overcome my post-traumatic stress disorder?

During our first session, we discuss the breadth of symptoms, behaviours, trauma if you can and your thoughts/feelings. This gives us the path to create your multi-discipline therapy treatment plan.

The next sessions focus on altering your brains’ response to trauma triggers. The trauma has left you in a heightened and more frequent state of arousal, in essence, a state of inescapability. The event has been recorded in the amygdala part of your brain and it is your neurons which remain in a state of heightened arousal.

To remove these neurons, one of our more common techniques for trauma is the Havening Techniques®, which are a sensory therapeutic tool designed specially to heal traumatic memories and post-traumatic stress disorder. The Havening produces a delta wave which calms and the neurons, removing them from your amygdala and therefore, removing the constant presence of those traumatic memories.

Your online multi-discipline therapy treatment plan is focused on changing your brain’s response to the traumatic memory. Through a variety of techniques, we change your brain’s habits to encourage a different way to approach triggers, memories and behaviours, confidently achieving recovery in as little as three sessions.
